सील दुकानों के बाहर ही शुरू हुआ कारोबार

एमसीडी कार्रवाई के नाम पर सीलिंग तो करती है लेकिन इसके बाद सील की गई जगह की कोई सुध नहीं ली जाती है। शायद यही वजह है कि सीलिंग होने के बाद भी सील की गई दुकानों के बाहर फिर से अवैध रूप से कब्जा कर लिया जाता है। ऐसा ही एक मामला सामने आया है। पूरे मामले में एनजीटी नॉर्थ एमसीडी को कार्रवाई करने के लिए निर्देश जारी किया है। एनजीटी के समक्ष पेश एक मामले के अनुसार दिल्ली गेट इलाके में अतिक्रमण कर अवैध रूप से चलाए जा रहे स्कूटर रिपेयर मार्केट के कारण वायु प्रदूषण और ध्वनि प्रदूषण फैल रहा है। इतना ही नहीं, इसके कारण इलाके में रहने वाले लोगों के स्वास्थ्य पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव पड़ रहा है और लोगों की शांति भी भंग हो रही है।

अर्जी में यह भी बताया गया है कि मार्केट की दुकानों को साल 2017 के दौरान सील भी किया गया था। लेकिन फिर से सील की गई दुकानों के बाहर ही रिपेयर का काम शुरू कर दिया गया। इन तथ्यों को पुख्त करने के लिए फोटोग्राफ भी दिखाए गए। उक्त आरोप रेजिडेंट्स एंड शॉपकीपर्स ऑफ दिल्ली गेट की ओर से पत्र भेजकर लगाए गए हैं। पत्र में लगाए गए आरोपों को एनजीटी ने अर्जी के तौर पर स्वीकारते हुए एजेंसियों को कार्रवाई के लिए निर्देश दिया है। एनजीटी ने नॉर्थ एमसीडी व डीपीसीसी को संयुक्त रूप से इस संबंध में एक माह के भीतर जांच कर कार्रवाई करने को कहा है। इसके लिए एनजीटी ने डीपीसीसी को नोडल एजेंसी बनाया है। मामले की सुनवाई एनजीटी चेयरपर्सन जस्टिस आदर्श कुमार गोयल, जस्टिस एसपी वांगडी, जस्टिस के रामाकृष्णण और एक्सपर्ट मेंबर डॉ. नागिन नंदा की बेंच कर रही थी।

एनडीएमसी एरिया में दी जा रही है अवैध तहबाजारी को मंजूरी

दिल्ली के पॉश एनडीएमसी एरिया में अधिकारियों की मिलीभगत से अवैध तहबाजारी को मंजूरी दी जा रही है। इसके कारण लगभग एक हजार केरोसिन स्टोव का इस्तेमाल होगा। जिसके कारण प्रदूषण का स्तर भी तेजी से बढ़ेगा। इन तथ्यों के आधार पर नई दिल्ली म्यूनिसिपल कोरपोरेशन इंप्लाएज एसोसियशन ने एनजीटी से शिकायत की है। एसोसियशन की ओर से एनजीटी को पत्र के जरिए दी गई शिकायत में यह आरोप भी लगाया गया है कि ऐसा एनडीएमसी के इंफोर्समेंट डिपार्टमेंट की मिलीभगत से किया जा रहा है। पत्र द्वारा लगाए गए आरोपों को एनजीटी ने अर्जी के तौर पर स्वीकार किया है। एनजीटी चेयरपर्सन की अगुवाई वाली बेंच ने मामले की सुनवाई के दौरान संबंधित डिस्ट्रीक मजिस्ट्रेट (डीएम) और डीपीसीसी को संयुक्त जांच कर नियमानुसार कार्रवाई करने के लिए निर्देशित किया है। इसके लिए एक माह का समय दिया गया है। एनजीटी ने शिकायत और ऑर्डर की एक कॉपी दिल्ली के चीफ सेक्रेटरी को भी भेजने का निर्देश दिया है।

Tulip flowers blooms in Gardens

       

 Despite the entirely different climatic conditions, the New Delhi Municipal Council had succeeded in growing Tulip flower plants at its Children Park at India Gate, Lodhi Garden and Nehru Park at Chankaypuri at New Delhi area during this winter. This has been informed by NDMC, Chairman, Shri Naresh Kumar here today.

Outlining the details of the varieties and colours of the planted tulip flowers, the Chairman said that about 17000 bulbs of the varieties consisting of Purple Prince, Red impression, Crystal Star,  Queens land,     World’s favorite, Ninja, Largo, Orange Queen and Micky Chic had been successfully grown in these parks and garden. For which pre-programmed bulbs were imported from Holland.

The flowering tulips are now in full bloom and it had been becoming the centre of attraction for the people particularly the children, who are visiting the garden and people are daily inquiring about the cultivation of these flowers, he said.

He further said that it is really a matter of satisfaction and encouragement that with the sustained efforts and scientific approach of the Horticulture Department, the tulip being a temperate crop, which required cold temperature had been cultivated in a humid sub tropical climatic zone of New Delhi area having altogether different temperature even in winter season.

The Chairman said that the Horticulture Department had been engaged in exploring the possibilities to introduce such more flowering plants to add the varieties and colours in area under the jurisdiction of NDMC.

The tulips occupy a prominent position among the top 10 flowers of the world and in the international flower market, tulips command good demand on account of their elegant flowers of different hues and shapes. And added that Tulip being a temperate crop requires a cold temperature regime for flower initiation and are less influenced by light.  In India, the conditions to grow Tulips are very conducive in Srinagar (J&K) and surrounding cold areas, he said.  Sri Nagar also import such pre-programmed bulbs from other countries such as Holland, he said.

MISS WORLD 2017 INTERACT WITH  300 NDMC SCHOOL GIRLS ON “MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT CURRICULUM”

New Delhi – February 6, 2018

While interacting with the girls students of NDMC schools on the theme of “Menstrual Hygiene ManagementCurriculum”, Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar called upon the students that the three components namely Education, Equality and Empowerment play an important and pivotal role in moving the country forward in respect of unbeatable in every aspect.

She had been interacting with over 300 girls students and lady teachers of NDMC schools at NDMC Convention Centre here today.

This event has been organized by the NDMC in association with Miss World Organization under the “Beauty with purpose” mission led by Chairperson, Ms. Julia Morley.

Miss World said that menstruation is a natural phenomenon and now it is neither any dirt nor a taboo or shame for personal, family and society. And added that the use of sanitary pads and Do’s and Don’ts should be discussed with openness, so as to make hygienic and healthy life of women fold.

Advocating the use of eco-friendly sanitary napkin pads, she said that one should practiced the jute sanitary pads as these were more natural having fiber and easily available in India and other parts of the world.

Underlining the importance of change of mindset of the society in respect of girl child, she said that it was the need of the hour to spread happiness working with a purpose, intension with truth, faith in destiny and no hidden purpose with a purpose of life.

Exhorting the girls students Ms.Chhillar said that this message of menstrual hygiene should be taken to your friends so as to spread it across the society.  

In his welcome address Chairman, NDMC, Shri Naresh Kumar said that it was a matter of privilege and pride that not only for NDMC, but also of New Delhi where World beauties had wished to visit for a purpose under the “Beauty with Purpose” Mission. The New Delhi is the heart of the country and seat of the IndianGovernment and any message spread from here, there is no doubt that it would be definitely reach every corner of the country and overseas as well.  This innovation would go a long way in dispelling the myth and breaking the taboo about the female hygiene and health.

पानी की गुणवत्ता मामले में सिविक बॉडीज के हेड तलब

जल बोर्ड, एनडीएमसी, दिल्ली कैंट बोर्ड और सीजीडब्ल्यूए को आवश्यक आंकड़ा उपलब्ध कराने पर लगाई फटकार

एनजीटी ने दिल्ली की विभिन्न सिविक बॉडीज की खिंचाई की है। यह खिंचाई एनजीटी द्वारा कई बार दिए गए निर्देशों के बाद भी पीने के पानी की गुणवत्ता पर आंकड़ा नहीं सौंपने के लिए की गई है। साथ ही एनजीटी ने पूरे मामले में संबंधित अधिकारियों के रूख को लेकर भी नाराजगी जाहिर की। सुनवाई के दौरान एनजीटी एक्टिंग चेयरपर्सन जस्टिस यूडी साल्वी की अध्यक्षता वाली बेंच ने संबंधित सिविक बॉडीज के हेड को समन जारी किया है। इसके तहत दिल्ली जल बोर्ड के सीईओ, दिल्ली कैंट बोर्ड के सीईओ, केंद्रीय भूजल प्राधिकरण (सीजीडब्ल्यूए) के अध्यक्ष और नई दिल्ली नगरपालिका परिषद (एनडीएमसी) के कमिश्नर को एनजीटी के समक्ष 31 जनवरी को तलब किया गया है। बेंच ने कहा कि जल बोर्ड, एनडीएमसी, दिल्ली कैंट बोर्ड और सीजीडब्ल्यूए को आवश्यक आंकड़ा उपलब्ध कराने का निर्देश दिया गया था। लेकिन अभी तक न तो आंकडे एकत्र किए गए और न ही उनका विश्लेषण किया गया है। मामले में अगली सुनवाई 31 जनवरी को होगी। सुनवाई के दौरान एनजीटी को जानकारी दी गई कि इस मामले एनजीटी के 10 दिसंबर, 2015 को दिए गए निर्णय का अनुपालन करते हुए दो बैठकें आयोजित की गई हैं। बता दें कि दिल्ली के घरों में आपूर्ति किए जाने वाले पानी की गुणवत्ता को लेकर एनजीटी ने संज्ञान लिया था। इस मामले को लेकर एनजीटी ने इंवायरमेंट सेक्रेटरी, सेंट्रल पॉल्यूशन कंट्रोल बोर्ड (सीपीसीबी), दिल्ली पॉल्यूशन कंट्रोल कमेटी (सीपीसीसी), दिल्ली जल बोर्ड व तीनों निगमों के अधिकारियों को लेकर एक कमेटी गठित की थी। इसके तहत एक विस्तृृत रिपोर्ट मांगी गई थी।
